Mo McRae’s feature directorial debut, from EP David Oyelowo, centers on James and Vanessa , who seem to be happily married, successful and comfortable in every way, but are are rocked to their core while watching the news one night when they see cell phone footage of their neighbor committing a crime. In a state of shock, and with opposing points of view about how to address the issue, they go on a highly combustible journey to ‘do something.
McRae penned the script with Sarah Kelly Kaplan and produced alongside Inny Clemons, Zak Krostofek and Jason Tamasco, with Kim Hodgert, Oyelowo and Nina Soriano exec producing. Anna Notarides co-produced, with Matt Cassaro and Erich Hover serving as associate producers.
