Once on “The Hill,” we checked in through security and navigated our way to the “cloakroom” for the House Science Committee. It is located in the Rayburn House Office Building. As the start time neared, we were promptly escorted into the hearing room .

Our lawmakers increasingly understand the threats of extreme weather to their constituents, water supply, public health, agricultural productivity, infrastructure, economy and national security.
