The campaign sees Black jewellers working with top celebrity stylists to create bespoke jewellery using responsibly-sourced natural diamonds from Botswana.
, whose mission is to combine red carpet impact with philanthropy, it was only ever going to lead to some major jewellery moments – but with way more longevity than a few photos on the internet.

A super high take on her Berceau range, the gently graduating swoop of diamonds sits in a cradle of undulating blackened gold. Berceau is French for cradle and refers to Sarr’s inspiration for her collection, which pays homage to the form-hugging ancestral adornments of the people of the Great Rift Valley, that stretches from Lebanon to Mozambique via Kenya and Ethiopia, believed to be the ‘cradle’ of humanity.
This is by no means the first time Almasika, which Sarr launched at Paris’ legendary Colette store in 2014 – has been seen in public in a big way. “We’re very blessed that from the very beginning we’ve had Sandra Oh, Michelle Obama and Alicia Keys wear our pieces,” she says. “Lizzo wore the Berceau hoops for the cover ofmagazine in 2019. We do see a spike in traffic with these red carpet moments,” she continues.
