Inside its walls, the RCMP Heritage Centre houses hundreds of pieces of the national police service's storied history, ripe to celebrate 150 years.
Each item tells a piece of the cumulative history of Canada’s oldest and most recognizable police force from the last century of service both on Canadian soil and overseas.
In considering both milestones, Karikas feels Heritage Centre plays a unique and significant role in honouring the RCMP’s contributions to that history.Article content“Our duty is really to illuminate the past, to shine the light behind us into all of the corners of time, but also use that same light of inspiration and curiosity to point forwards towards the future.”
