A 97-year-old man was fatally hit by a car Friday in Lancaster County, the coroner’s office said.
The man was hit around 7 a.m. on the 700 block of Doe Run Road in Penn Township, Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber said. Doe Run Road was shut down for hours on Friday while Northern Lancaster County Regional police investigated the crash.
