A frightening discovery was made in Queens when a 9-year-old playing in his backyard found a loaded gun.
"In America: An Anthology of Fashion" is launching at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Monday's Met Gala, opening to the public May 7.A week before the horrible discovery, the mother, noticed a stranger trespassing and acting aggressively in her yard.
"I assumed he had a firearm by the way he was fixing his waist," she said."At that moment, I called 911""I don't know if he's going to come back looking for it," she said."I don't know if he's going to retaliate because I want justice. But what I do know is I don't want this to happen to any kid, ever again."
In an exclusive interview, the family asked Eyewitness News to protect their identity because an arrest has not yet been made.Young Isaiah had picked up the gun with his finger on the trigger. "As he handed it to me, I could see a hole in the barrel of the gun," his mother said."Pointing to me as he handed it to me."----------
