Plus, there are all sorts of things that help us feel intimate with our partner that don't involve actually having sex - things, might we add, that require less energy. Watching a boxset together for example, snuggled up on the sofa, or sitting down for a meal where neither of you look at your phones.
Everyone's sex life is different, but if you're worried about how much sex you should be having, or have ever wondered how much sex other people are having, it can feel awkward to ask others about how often they get down to it. So, we've done the awkward work for you and asked eight co-habiting couples how often they were actually having sex.
