Here are 6 walks you can embark on in the lovely autumnal sunshine.Cosgrove and Grand Union Canal Walk Time: 1 hour You return to farmland and pastures on the second half of the route, and then canal tunnels are narrow and low. Any gates and stiles are easy for most dogs.This countryside trail near Daventry is great for either hiking or walking. The seven mile circular route includes farmland paths, wooded tracks, and country lanes.
On your walk you will pass through beautiful villages, picturesque views and you might even see a deer or two lurking in the undergrowth. You can pop into the Fox pub in Souldern for some refreshment.Starting off in West Haddon, you can grab a pint at the beginning or end of your journey. The Crown Inn and Pytchley Inn are both on your route of this 6km walk.
