Don't waste your money on 'anti-aging' products that don't work:
On the heels of the controversial FaceApp craze that gave people a glimpse of what they might look like in a few decades, many likely wondered how to slow down the aging process. Plenty of us are already trying to do that with a wide array of anti-aging products: The global anti-aging market is expected to reach $331 billion by 2021, and is estimated to see a compound annual growth rate of 5.7%.
Experts say that while plenty of anti-aging products are little more than hype, some actually work: “It’s a very exciting time in the world of anti-aging creams. We’re increasingly able to translate in-office treatments to at-home skincare,” Beverly Hills-based dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban tells MarketWatch.
