A new 'Lion King' trailer has landed, and Pride Rock 2019 stirs nostalgia and gripes.

So while Donald Glover takes over for Matthew Broderick’s vocal performance as adult Simba — thus leading the cast of new talent — it’s the return of Jones as king that resonates most deeply in the new teaser. Lions with darker manes are also more aggressive and lead prides more often than lighter-maned males. Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen take over as Timon and Pumbaa. John Oliver is good casting as Zazu. John Kani again voices a wise teacher as Rafiki. And Keegan-Michael Key is now a Disney go-to, voicing hyena Kamari a month after his “Toy Story 4” performance.
