There are exciting Star Wars LEGO sets still to come in 2023, ending the year on a high note with sets based on the upcoming Ahsoka series and more.
As one of LEGO's best-selling franchises, Star Wars always has new sets on the way from the toy company including the rest of 2023. Having already released an impressive collection this year, there's still a handful that have yet to hit store shelves. Additionally, some of these sets are some of the most anticipated Star Wars sets LEGO has ever made.
It's also been rumored that the new gunship will be part of Coruscant's security force, meaning that it will have a unique red paint job compared to past iterations of the Republic Gunship. Additionally, the set is reported to come with Chancellor Palpatine and Padmé Amidala. Clone Commander Fox and two Coruscant Shock Troopers are rumored as well, sharing the red-highlighted armor.
Reportedly releasing in September as well, The Ghost will be sold for around $170 with a piece count of 1,394. While the original set in 2014 had a compatible set for The Ghost's shuttle known as The Phantom , this new set will hopefully come with both the ship and shuttle altogether. It would certainly make sense seeing as how the old version of The Ghost only had a piece count of 929 on its own.
The set will also feature a minifigure of Huyang, the ancient Jedi droid first seen in The Clone Wars animated series voiced by David Tennant. Having been seen at the end of the Ahsoka trailer, Huyang's very first LEGO debut is very exciting. Last but not least, leaks have teased that the set will also come with an "Inquisitor-like" figure. This is either the actual Inquisitor seen in the Ahsoka trailer or one of the rogue Jedi wielding orange lightsabers .
