Four members of a Walker County family have been indicted on multiple charges alleging physical abuse – and some sexual abuse – of children.
Patsy and James Wyres are married. Anthony Wyres is their son, and Amanda Wyres is Anthony Wyres’ wife.
Her husband has been indicted on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of aggravated child abuse. Anthony Wyres is indicted on three counts of aggravated child abuse, one count of domestic violence-strangulation and two counts of tampering with a witness.
