A 3-year-old child was accidentally shot and killed over the weekend at a Lancaster County campground. The Lancaster County Coroner's Office says the boy was accidentally shot in the head and died.
The coroner's office conducted the autopsy on Monday morning and said the boy's death does not appear to be suspicious at this time. Investigators with the coroner's office found the boy inside a travel trailer parked in the Tucquan Park Family Campground on River Road in Martic Township around 7 p.m. on Friday night. The boy was pronounced dead an hour later.He was visiting from Virginia with family. State police tell News 8 that no charges were filed.
