3 hospitalized after head-on crash on state Route 94 near Boulevard [Breaking]
Three people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after two pickups were involved in a head-on collision just east of Old Highway 80 in the Boulevard area, officials said.
The collision was reported around 2:45 p.m. on state Route 94 near Lillie Lane, according to a California Highway Patrol log. There were a total of five people in the two vehicles and three were transported to a hospital for treatment. One had moderate injuries and two had minor injuries, said Cal Fire spokesperson Thomas Shoots. Two dogs in the vehicles were uninjured, he said.
The crash briefly blocked traffic in both directions on the roadway. CHP units cleared the scene about an hour later.
