Bradley West taken into custody for September 12 shooting in Fairbanks
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A pursuit occurred Thursday afternoon in Fairbanks by the Alaska State Troopers that led to the arrest of 29-year-old Bradley West.
A dispatch report confirms at approximately 4:20 p.m. Thursday, AST attempted to stop a vehicle driven by West. West failed to stop and took off. A short distance later, he collided with a fuel tanker. According to the Fairbanks Police Department , West has been wanted since September 12 for a shooting that took place on 21st Avenue in Fairbanks. One male adult was sent to the hospital with a gunshot wound and West was identified as the shooter.After troopers took West into custody, he was taken to the Fairbanks Police Department for questioning. He was then remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center and charged with First Degree Assault for the September 12 shooting.
