"I live in AZ and I bought these in several colors. They seemed to work great but I wanted to put them to the test. So on the day the temperature was going to be 119 degrees, I took cold water and filled the bottle. I did not add any ice when I filled it. I put it in the car at about 9:00 am and left it there all day, parked in a non-air conditioned garage with all the windows closed. At 5:00 pm, we left to run an errand in the car.
I took a sip from the bottle, and even though the bottle was extremely hot to the touch, the water inside of the bottle was as cold as it went into the bottle.
