For the money, the Supra won again. Also note that after about 2.5 years on the market, the Supra has sold roughly 17,000 units to the Z4's 8,000.
Perhaps this all explains why, to the last day of our yearlong test car's stay, respect and admiration of the Supra in the public's eye remained strong. We've noted how many folks, who might be intimidated to approach us while refueling a Ferrari or Lamborghini, would routinely stroll up, camera in hand, and say,"Wow, is that the new Supra?"OK, makes sense, as our yellow Supra was definitely an eye-catching sports car.
