As well as being the showrunner, she's also acted as a executive producer and writer on the series., I was elated to get to sit down with Sera and talk about how Season 4 came together. Here's what I learned:Season 4 was inspired by two things: The need to have Joe"look himself in the eye" and a desire to try a murder mystery.

"We had this idea pretty early, that we'd like to see them again. We agreed with the fans who were like, 'Where's Love?' We wanted to see her too! By that point in the season, we were in need of people to converse with Joe about how he was going to solve this problem, because his his inner monologue had become unreliable to himself.
