A man found lying on the ground by police died at the scene early Tuesday morning in Casa View.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in the 10400 block of Joaquin Drive about 2 a.m. Tuesday.Revised at 2:31 p.m. June 21 to include the victim's identity.
According to police, officers responded to a report that a person had been shot in the 10400 block of Joaquin Drive, near Ferguson Road, about 2 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a boy, identified by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office as 15-year-old Mikel Davis, wounded on the ground.Anyone with information may contact Detective Josue Rodriguez at 214-605-1557 orRead the crime and public safety news your neighbors are talking about.
