Black cats may be known as bad luck, but the truth is, we've seen way too many cute ones to feel this way about them. Here are some of our faves.
We've all heard some nasty rumors about black cats -- that they're bad luck crossing our paths, or that they're signs of death and doom. But the truth is, the stories, folklore, myths, and superstitions around black cats are different in every culture, and in some parts of the world, black cats are even considered very lucky! In Scotland, for instance, black cats are a symbol of prosperity . They're also considered quite lucky throughout Japan.
Of course, we think that black cats are totally sweet, very adoptable, and are much cuter than they're usually given credit for, but then again, we're generally pretty serious about love of cats in general, no matter what color they are. For anyone else who's as into cats as much as we are, take a look through these -- they're so perfect, we can totally see ourselves getting a variation on one of these someday soon.
