Police say they've arrested a 14-year-old driver for investigation of manslaughter in a crash that killed 1 passenger earlier this week.
RICHFIELD — Police say they have arrested a 14-year-old male driver for investigation of manslaughter in aA 15-year-old boy had been standing up through the sunroof of the vehicle and filming at the time of the crash, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety. He was pinned under the vehicle when it rolled and he died at the scene.
In a Facebook post Friday, Richfield police said they arrested the young driver Wednesday evening under investigation of manslaughter and obstruction of justice.In their initial statement, police said they were investigating whether alcohol was a "possible contributor." Richfield police did not say what led to the crash in their latest update.
