14 residents were displaced and a pet dog was killed in a Friday afternoon fire that impacted two buildings in the Bret Harte neighborhood of San Francisco.
The San Francisco Fire Department announced just after 3:40 p.m. that firefighters were at the scene of a one-alarm fire at a building located at 823 Ingerson Ave., near Bret Harte Elementary School. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze by about 4:15 p.m. The SFFD reported nine people from the building at 823 Ingerson Ave. were displaced, while five others were displaced from a neighboring building located at 821 Ingerson Ave.

Suspect arrested in killing of Cash App founder Bob LeeA San Francisco supervisor says an arrest has been made in the downtown stabbing death of Cash App founder Bob Lee.
