Fantasy 5 lottery game ticket worth more than $115,00 sold Sunday at a Fremont Safeway
FREMONT — Someone bought more than groceries Sunday night at a supermarket here and became one of three people in the state to win a $115,330 Fantasy 5 lottery game jackpot, officials said.The winning ticket was purchased at the Safeway, located at 39100 Argonaut Way, in the Fremont Hub.
A store employee contacted by phone said they were not aware the winning ticket was purchased there. “It’s news to me,” he said.The other two winning tickets were purchased in Southern California, one at a convenience store and the other at a gas station.Fantasy 5 is played every day of the week. Monday’s estimated winnings are a minimum of $68,000.
