The Doom Patrol has seen a lot of unbelievable heroes over the years. But even among the team’s offbeat collection, only 10 stand out as the weirdest.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT If there’s one thing that’s not up for debate, it’s that the Doom Patrol is composed of some of the oddest heroes in the DC Universe. Ever since Niles Caulder founded the team, the team has been a home to outrageous heroes with unbelievable origins, appearances, and especially powers.

9 Ambush Bug DC’s Deadpool was getting into trouble all over the DC Universe long before he joined up with the Doom Patrol. This wacky jokester has a powerful meta-awareness and the ability to pop up wherever he wants to in the DC Multiverse. To the Doom Patrol’s displeasure, Ambush Bug joined the team when they were stationed on Oolong Island. Bug never took his job seriously.

6 Degenerate Degenerate is another of the Doom Patrol’s newest members who were also affected by Lazarus Planet’s global disaster. Degenerate, also known as Maurice, has hard chitinous growths all over his body that he can fortify at will. He can also increase his size and strength, making him a viable field asset. Unfortunately, the only way he can activate these powers is by being an absolute jerk to the people around him. The more mean he is, the stronger he can become.

3 Crazy Jane One of the biggest powerhouses ever to grace the Doom Patrol, Crazy Jane is an army unto herself. Kay Challis is a woman with dissociative identity disorder and after she was hit by the Dominator’s gene bomb, every one of her personas developed a unique power. In an instant, Jane can become Flit, and spirit her allies to anywhere in the world or Black Annis, a fearsome ghoul that can eviscerate her enemies with her incredibly sharp claws.
