Rebel Moon will have a similar blend of mysticism and violence, as that has been a staple throughout Snyder's filmography. However, there are also several shots in the trailer that feel reminiscent of The Witcher imagery.
5 The Matrix The breakout success of the Wachowskis and The Matrix paved the way for Snyder's entire career. Their innovative blend of action, sci-fi, and stylish filmmaking directly led to filmmakers like Snyder, and the genres he inhabits. With themes of revolution, control, and authority, it stands to reason that The Matrix will continue to influence Snyder as he makes his sci-fi epic.
