There are many evil characters in Baldur’s Gate 3, from murderous to racist, but some can exceed players’ expectations when it comes to being vile.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT There are many evil characters in Baldur’s Gate 3, but some of the villains that are encountered by the player and their party are extremely vile, so much so that they even defy evil playthroughs. While not all of them are exactly antagonists and some can even be recruited, these evil characters are composed of terrible deeds and lines of thought, from crude violence and murder to blatant racism and a desire for domination.
When he is released, Nere will complain, kill a gnome for no good reason, and vocally express his racist thoughts. Nere is a terrible being and possibly one of the most vile ones that players will encounter in the early stages of Baldur’s Gate 3. Even if players are running an evil campaign, Nere is a little much, and it is fairly enticing to see him killed off.
7 Malus Thorm Possibly the most repugnant character in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, Malus Thorm can be found in the House of Healing. Once a renowned doctor, this servant of Ketheric Thorm has been deeply corrupted by his own devotion to Lady Shar and instead teaches curing through pain. When he is first encountered, Malus is literally torturing a patient, but calling it healing.
Ketheric is ruthlessly violent and oppressive, and he cares for nothing but his own interests. He can be led to repent for his sins during his final moments, but the fact is that he has already plagued the land too much and caused too much pain to actually be considered worthy of salvation. Ketheric is the big bad of Act 2, and that is built upon during that entire portion of the story.
4 Arfur It really does not matter if he was subjected and forced into doing so, but Arfur is one of the cruelest and most cold-blooded individuals in the entire game, even if he only presents himself briefly in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3. If players dig enough, they may just find out that he is a toy maker. The problem with this is that he is making teddy bears stuffed with explosives.
Cazador, like Raphael, has a way with words and is quite charming. However, underneath that pleasant persona lies a vile and bloodthirsty creature that conceals his evil. Cazador is cruel, sadistic, and a torturer, and his mere existence is a threat to all, heroes and villains alike.
