Several iconic One Piece scenes are confirmed to happen in Netflix’s live-action One Piece show. Almost 24 years after the One Piece manga received an anime adaptation, the story will now get the live-action treatment with Netflix’s One Piece series. One Piece season 1 will have eight episodes, and the show is expected to cover the East Blue saga.
9 Luffy & Zoro's First Meeting Luffy and Zoro’s first meeting in One Piece is one of the most accurate moments from the live-action One Piece trailer. Even the way Zoro is framed in the trailer mirrors how that particular scene was portrayed in the One Piece anime. Luffy and Zoro could not be more different, yet they quickly bonded.

A flawed portrayal of Luffy’s signature moves would have certainly doomed the live-action show, especially because One Piece gets more fantastical and full of spectacle with each arc. Fortunately, Luffy’s stretching powers look good in live-action.
4 Sanji Saves Luffy From Drowning The Baratie Arc is a highlight of One Piece’s first saga, and the live-action One Piece show will cover it. Not only does the Baratie restaurant itself appear in the trailer, but Milton Schorr has been cast as Don Krieg. The fact that Sanji saves Luffy from drowning in the One Piece trailer all but confirms that the fight between the Baratie cooks and the Krieg pirates will happen in the live-action show.
