Animated shows are not safe from bad episodes, and some of them were so terrible they almost completely ruined the entire show, for different reasons.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary No matter how good an animated TV show is, none of them are safe from having bad episodes, and in some cases, great cartoon shows were almost ruined by one bad episode. Many animated shows have accompanied generations of viewers throughout their childhoods and teenage years, and their arrival at different streaming services has allowed viewers of all ages to enjoy them over and over again.

7 “Sun Scream” - The Powerpuff Girls The Powerpuff Girls centers on the title superheroes – Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup – as they save their city of Townsville from all types of monsters and villains. In season 6’s episode “Sun Scream”, the Powerpuff Girls get sunburned after fighting a solar flare and are unable to fight other villains due to the pain.

5 “The Great Gazoo” - The Flintstones The Flintstones took viewers to the Stone Age to meet Fred and Wilma Flintstone and their friends and neighbors Barney and Betty Rubble. In season 6, in the episode “The Great Gazoo”, The Flintstones introduced Gazoo, a space alien who offers Fred and Barney help with money so they can take their wives to a dinner date at an expensive restaurant. However, once the bill arrives, it turns out that Gazoo found a way to return to his planet.
