A 55-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in St. George on Tuesday morning. Police have arrested another driver suspected of negligence.

ST. GEORGE — Police have arrested a man following a two-vehicle crash that killed one person near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Valley View Drive Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. and involved a Chevrolet pickup truck and a Dodge pickup truck. Manuel Gomez, 55, the driver of the Chevrolet, died as a result of his injuries, according to police. In the Dodge, William Western, 47, was arrested for investigation of reckless driving and negligently operating a vehicle resulting in death, as well as unlawful possession.Police are still investigating the crash and did not release more information.
