Two local nonprofits are joining forces build freedom for an Indianapolis man.
INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after five people were found shot on Indy's far south side early Sunday morning.around 1:20 a.m. On the scene, they found five people who had been shot in a nearby parking lot.
Medics pronounced one male dead when they arrived. The other four victims were transported to local hospitals.Several people in the area reported gunshots fired into their businesses. Detectives later learned that there was some type of"disturbance" inside the GZ Restaraunt&Karaoke before the shooting and are working to determine if it connected to the shooting.The Marion County Coroner's Office will determine the manner and cause of death and will release the name of the deceased victim once their family is notified.
