One person died and another was flown to a hospital Thursday night following a crash involving a tractor trailer in Hunterdon County, the New Jersey State Police told NJ Advance Media. The crash was reported at 8:11 p.m. on Interstate 78 east in Union Township, but no other details were released late Thursday.
The two left lanes of the eastbound portion of the highway remained closed as of 9:30 p.m. as the accident remained under investigation, police said.
