Officers responded about 7 a.m. to the 400 block of Hart Street, near Hutchins Avenue and East Eighth Street, where a male gunshot victim was pronounced dead. He has not been identified.Quinton Darden, 27, was arrested in connection with the slaying, according to authorities. Police said he faces a murder charge, but court records did not reflect that charge Saturday evening.Darden was being held at the Dallas County jail on one count of evidence tampering, with bail set at $50,000.
